Taunusstein unit offered for storage or hospitality

The Taunusstein space is advertised for uses including a café, other food-service operations, storage or a tenant's own business concept. Two listings identify the address as Aarstraße 251, 65232 Taunusstein, and give an area of 250 m². A third provides only the ZIP code and town, though its description also puts the space at approximately 250 m².

All three entries use the same description but assign different property categories: industrial and storage space, industrial space, and hall and industrial space. None publishes an asking rent.

For regional context, IHK Wiesbaden's 2025 commercial rent survey reported a range of €4.67 to €14.44 per m² for halls and production space in Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, the district containing Taunusstein. The average was €8.06 per m². Without a published rent for the unit, a direct price comparison is not possible.

The survey separately recorded rents for office and practice space in Taunusstein at €5.00 to €92.86 per m², averaging €13.92 per m².

Ingelheim workshop includes offices renovated in 2025

The property in 55218 Ingelheim combines a ground-floor workshop with directly connected offices. Listed under industrial and workshop space, it has a total advertised area of 360 m² and a base rent of €2,500, excluding ancillary costs.

About 180 m² is ground-floor workshop or production space. According to the listing, large windows provide natural light, the ceiling height is approximately 4 meters, and the area can accommodate craft work, production or storage. The workshop is fully heated and has a large sectional door for access.

The adjoining offices were renovated to a high standard in 2025, the listing says. They contain three rooms for office or meeting use, with high ceilings and exposed timber trusses. Separate women's and men's restrooms and a dedicated shower are also provided.

On-site parking is optional, and additional outdoor space may be available by arrangement. The availability date is also subject to agreement.

Ingelheim study documents scarce commercial land

A city-commissioned commercial land development study, known as GEFEK and published in June 2023, found that Ingelheim's commercial land supply had declined significantly and was scarce. It recorded just 16 land purchases from 2011 through 2020, averaging 1.6 transactions and about 0.84 hectares per year.

The study also described growth in local employment: the number of people employed at workplaces in Ingelheim reached 19,865 in 2021, an increase of 5,115, or about 35 percent, from 2011. More than half of the jobs were knowledge-based, and roughly one in three depended directly on commercial land.

Looking ahead to 2040, the study projected net commercial land demand of 38 to 42 hectares. It allowed another approximately 30 hectares for developing Ingelheim as a "BioTech Valley," bringing the total calculated net requirement to 68 to 72 hectares.
