Seating request put into practice

City Councilor Yvette Grön proposed adding a place to sit at the stop during the council's October 15 meeting. The bench was subsequently installed, with a photo accompanying the Volksstimme report showing it in place.

Grön represents the CDU/B90-Die Grünen/EWG faction on Halberstadt's 41-member city council, according to the city's council information system.

Voigtei's place on the tram network

Voigtei is a stop on tram line 2. The route listed in the August 17, 2026, timetable starts at Halberstadt Hauptbahnhof and passes through Heinrich-Heine-Platz, Landratsamt, Herbingstraße, Westerhäuser Straße and Holzmarkt before reaching Voigtei. It then continues to its terminus at Sargstedter Weg.

The stop's accessible design is complemented by the vehicles serving the system: according to Wikipedia's overview of Halberstadt's trams, the entire network uses accessible Leoliner low-floor vehicles.

Voigtei once marked the end of line 2. That changed on August 4, 1993, when the line was extended to serve the Nordring residential area and reach the Sargstedter Weg turning loop.
